Club Penguin Reviewed by You

Club Penguin released a new Reviewed By You. Last week they wanted to know who you’d go on an adventure with and where. The winner was Chubby The P (lol… funny name! Luv it!), and he/she said:

If I could go on an adventure, I would go with my mermaid friends under the sea! We would swim through forests of seaweed, discover lost treasures, and collect glittering shells! We would go in search for a sunken ship, and bring back pearls, diamonds, and coral! We would swim with colorful fishes, and jump in the sparkling waves with the dolphins. And when we were tired, we would go have a picnic of seaweed rolls and sand cake under the waterfall!

You know what really annoys me about the Reviewed By You answers? Some of those penguins have really bad grammar, and CP doesn’t fix it. But this time the grammar and spelling was good, and I wasn’t bothered to death!! I think I’d be a good editor. I get mad when I see bad grammar, and I guess that’s an editor sign….

Anyway!

This week Club Penguin wants to know what you would do if you could hang with Rockhopper for one precious day. Now THAT’S what I call a writing theme! I think this is one of Club Penguin’s best so far! I entered. Did you guys enter, too?

Club Penguin has introduced the weekly assignments!

Yay! Club Penguin has released the new weekly assignments, or Field-Ops!!

To complete the newest one, open up the uber-cool EPF spy phone and click on the Field-Ops button.
Then go the the EPF Command Room and walk over to the Field-Ops control panel.

Now accept the assignment, and to find the big “S” go to the entrance of the Night Club. By the outside door, click on the big S in “DISCO”!!!

Then click on your spy phone, which will be blinking green. Attach all of the… thingies (what are they called…?)… by the shape. Click on one then mouse over the others till you find the other one with the correct shape. Keep doing this until you’ve matched them all, then you’ll complete the mission! You’ll receive a medal with which you can buy one of the Elite Gear.

The head piece in the Elite Gear catalog (button is located on the uber-cool EPF spy phone) is free, and for both non- and members. FINALLY! The member item that you can buy with one medal is the EPF shades. Coolnesh!

What’s New: Club Penguin is coming to Wii!

Wow… Club Penguin is giving it their all, aren’t they?
They are coming out with a Club Penguin Wii game, since their DS games were so popular and successful! It looks like a bunch of all-new Club Penguin multiplayer and single games that penguins can do with their friends.

Do you guys think that this is cool or what? Do you have a Wii, and plan to buy the game? Did you enjoy the DS game and think that this looks really cool?

I don’t have a Wii OR a DS! LOL! So I wouldn’t know… and I won’t be buying the games, even though I seriously want a DS. But a computer’s pretty much good enough for me, too.

What’s New New Hologram Quarters! and upcoming Adventure Party…

This is awesome!! Club Penguin added another room to the EPF Command Room! You can travel there in a tube… Hee hee, it reminds me of those plastic tubes at banks when you order from your car! Have you ever seen those? They are so cool! The checks travel across the ceiling in a tube, and are delivered in a cylinder. So cool!

Anyway… this is what the Tube Transport looks like:

Also, see what you can do inside the new room, the Hologram Quarters! You can click on the HQ 2005, 2007, and 2010! You can see them and walk inside the old Club Penguin HQs.

SO AWESOME!! This is really cool stuff, don’t you agree?

The What’s New blog also mentioned the Adventure Party coming up soon. Do you think Club Penguin will actually have some new items this time? That would be so awesome! Maybe Rockhopper will bring NEW stuff, and not disappoint old-timer penguins! Seriously, I’m getting really tired of seeing old items or member items, not any new free items. It’s a bit sad.
There are boxes set up all around Club Penguin, stocked with stuff for the Adventure Party! I’m mostly excited to see if there will be any new free items, and to go on a Rockhopper hunt even though I already have his background. Usually, though, famous penguin hunts are useless. I always see famous penguins when I’m least expecting it, you know? I saw Rockhopper wandering through the Dock, Town, and Snow Forts that I saw before he left. Vineyardrose never got to get his background, neither did Mr Wiggles75, but Monkeyman1cm and I got his autographed background. He left very soon… only stayed a few minutes. Snowflakeooo really deserves the credit of finding him… I only went on that server because she was on it!

What’s New: Reviewed By You

Last week, Club Penguin asked us what items we would bring on an adventure, and the answer that was picked was Lilly34184:

That is a great question. If I could bring anything it would be my “Thinking Cap”. I always need to think hard when it comes to saving the island and also bringing a fish and squid pizza(Mmm!) would keep me from being hungry the whole time! But if I had to choose one it would be my good thinking skills.

She will now receive 10,000 coins in her Club Penguin account. I’ve always admired that — CP giving away such a huge amount of coins. Of course, coins are useless unless your penguin is a member, but still…

So now, CP wants to know who we would go on an adventure with and where we would go on the island. Make sure to send in a story, because it’s always worth the trouble if you get 10,000 coins! My trick: a copy of my Merriam Webster Thesaurus always fixes a need for a better or more playful word. *winkwink*

What’s New Tells us of long-awaited upcoming events!

Oh my gosh! Club Penguin just posted a new What’s New, and they’re saying that there’ll be a NEW ROOM! AMAZINGGGG!

That’s awesome! Have any ideas what the new room will be? It looks kinda like a target (the picture), sort of, kind of, and when you mouse over it on Club Penguin it reads, “3000.jpg”. What does “3000″ mean? I’m SOOO excited!

Also, what’s more, Billybob said this on the post:

We’ve heard many agents report in, wanting to know what they can do to protect Club Penguin. Starting next week, you’ll receive orders – for your first WEEKLY assignment. So, are YOU ready?

So apparently from next week on, we’ll be getting weekly assignments! Isn’t that what so many agents have wanted for so long? Just frequent assignments so that they don’t get bored of Club Penguin? Man… they are really trying to rake in keys for bringing back all of their lost players! Haven’t you noticed? So many Club Penguin players have quit… many of my best CP friends don’t come on any more, and real life friends quit… it’s pretty tragic — I myself almost quit! And this is a genius plan to bring penguins like me back to the Club Penguin “Play Now!” button.

Seashell Pin!

Club Penguin added a new pin! It’s on the Iceberg, which is hidden on your map. So if you don’t know how to go there, click on your map in the lower left corner of the screen and click the chunk of ice in the top right corner of the map. When you get there, you’ll see the new Seashell Pin sitting on the edge! Walk over to it and click “Yes” to get the pin. Then put it on and enjoy!

Club Penguin’s Penguins Around the World Update on What’s New

Hey, penguins! This was a bit of a random update on Club Penguin What’s New, but hey!

Club Penguin is reminding all of us that when we travel around, we can take pictures of our stuffed Club Penguin penguins at different locations, and enter them into the Penguins Around the World section on the Club Penguin Community. CLICK HERE to go to the Fan Gallery page and see the Penguins Around the World pictures!

Actually, I took a picture of my Rockhopper penguin at Disneyland when I went there last week. I had just bought him at a Disneyland store and decided I was going to try sending in a picture with him at Disneyland. So I took a picture, but I still need to upload it onto my computer. When that’s done, I’ll send it in and let you guys know if it gets posted, okay? Anyway, when I got home, I unlocked five items (the Rockhopper penguins at Disneyland enable you to unlock FIVE items!) from the EIGHTH TREASURE BOOK!! I was sitting there speechless as I unlocked my favorite items. I still really want to unlock the 7th Treasure Book — that stuff is amazing!

So… are any of you out traveling or are going to go out traveling soon? If so, make sure to shoot your plush penguin if you’ve got one when you see a great location!

Elite Penguin Force?! I thought this was for penguins who buy the DS game?

WHOA!!! What’s this? Club Penguin’s Elite Penguin Force video game USED to unlock the super-secret inside-the-wardrobe EPF Headquarters, but NOW Club Penguin has unleashed it, making it available to the kajillions of CP players! Ever since the PSA exploded (poor, poor PSA leader), and the island swam in popcorn, CP has made the EPF available to every penguin.

All we must do is take the test in the “Everyday Phoning Facility” (Let’s call it EPF for short!! Winkwink, nudgenudge) and any penguin has authority to enter the EPF Headquarters!

I mean, cool for penguins without the video game, but isn’t CP kind of cheating the penguins who have bought the game? Club Penguin is getting darn good at cleverly cheating faithful penguins…

So what do you think about all these changes? What the heck is happening? Do you LIKE the new EPF stuff or did you like the old PSA? Is the Command Room cooler than it used to be?
I never bought the video game, since I don’t have a Nintendo DS, but I saw my cousin Monkeyman1cm’s video game and he showed me the old Command Room that he unlocked.

Birdygurl Returns to Blogging… Miss Me?

Hey, people! You may have noticed that I haven’t been blogging for a long time. If you haven’t guessed why, it was because Club Penguin was being so darn STUPID!

Here’s a list of all the reasons why I was quitting:

All of CP has been really member-oriented! Where’s room for all the non-members? (Yes, I am a member, but I still feel cheated!)
What’s with all the “green” ness? Recycling, recycling, recycling! Save the trees, save paper, save, save, save! I’ve had just about enough!!
All of their clothes are getting really stupid — especially the hair. All they do is bring back stuff, and when they make it new, it’s always not-so-great, like CP is running out of ideas!
They have nothing but old free items, if any, nowadays for non-members during parties.
Club Penguin’s only current goal is raking in the $$$! There’s no goal just to make us happy! I say, if we’re not happy, they ain’t going to rake in our bucks no more. Agreed?
What the heck happened to their mission guarantee? It took, like, ages for Club Penguin to create a new mission! I thought they said it would be SOON!

Do all of you guys agree with this? I’m telling you, CP needs to step it up even more than they have! They’re slipping down the tube now!
